A composite filament is a mixture of two or more different polymers with two or more properties. The filament is a single polymer material, such as polyester, polyamide and so on. Therefore, the raw material of composite silk is more complex than that of filament.

As technology continues to advance, the textile industry is undergoing new transformations. Among these changes, PTFE Sewing Thread stands out as a high-performance sewing material, revolutionizing the industry with its unique high-temperature resistance.

In the vast world of textiles and sewing, where traditional materials like cotton, silk, and polyester dominate, there exists a unique and highly specialized thread that stands out for its exceptional properties: PTFE sewing thread. PTFE, short for Polytetrafluoroethylene, is a synthetic fluoropolymer known for its exceptional durability, low friction coefficient, and unparalleled resistance to chemicals, temperatures, and harsh environments. These fibers are extruded into fine strands that can be woven or twisted into thread suitable for sewing applications. The result is a thread that is incredibly strong, yet lightweight and flexible, making it ideal for use in situations where traditional threads would fail.

In the fields of chemical engineering and materials science, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is known as the "plastic king" due to its excellent chemical stability, high temperature resistance, and low friction coefficient. Sewing thread made of PTFE not only inherits these excellent characteristics, but also plays an indispensable role in various fields such as chemical production and industrial manufacturing. In recent years, the production process of PTFE sewing thread has been continuously innovated, injecting new vitality into its wide application in the chemical industry.

The structural stability of PTFE thread sewing comes from the molecular inertness of its perfluorocarbon chain. The material is formed into a continuous monofilament or multifilament structure through melt extrusion.

With the surge in demand for industrial-grade sewing thread, the market is flooded with cheap synthetic fibers being passed off as high-end PTFE. So how can we distinguish?
