On April 21, 2024, the 4-day German Industrial Textiles and nonwovens Exhibition was successfully concluded at the Frankfurt International Exhibition Center. PTFE, short for Polytetrafluoroethylene, is a synthetic fluoropolymer known for its exceptional durability, low friction coefficient, and unparalleled resistance to chemicals, temperatures, and harsh environments. These fibers are extruded into fine strands that can be woven or twisted into thread suitable for sewing applications. The result is a thread that is incredibly strong, yet lightweight and flexible, making it ideal for use in situations where traditional threads would fail.

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) sewing thread, with its unique physical and chemical properties, plays a crucial role in multiple medical scenarios, not only improving the quality and safety of surgeries, but also bringing new ideas to the innovation of medical devices.

PTFE needle felt filter is a high-precision filter medium formed by three-dimensional needle punching of ultra-fine PTFE fibers. Its core features include microporous mesh structure, intrinsic chemical inertness and surface non-adhesive properties.
