Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) cannot be melt-spun into monofilaments due to its lack of liquid flowability in the molten state. Our company uses a proprietary "plunger extrusion method" and slit yarns with post-processing to produce 90D~200D fine denier monofilaments (90D diameter can reach 0.075-0.08mm). These monofilaments can be used in medical devices, electronics, and numerous industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and fine filtration in food processing. A Shanghai-based medical device company has used NETTtex®️ 100D monofilaments to weave vascular stent ligation cords for human use, which has passed domestic clinical trials and obtained a medical device production license. To date, this series of products has been used or tested by multiple customers, proving its high strength, low elongation, abrasion resistance, and suitability for weaving or knitting. We can meet special technical requirements such as fixed length and appropriate elongation according to customer needs. We can also provide colored or flat round and other irregularly shaped fibers.
