NETT Expanded Polytetrafluoroethylene Fiber Successfully Developed

Recently, after several years of hard work, Suzhou Nett New Material Technology Co., Ltd. successfully developed PTFE Monofilament (Expanded polytetrafluoroethylene monofilament, or ePTFE). Produced using our proprietary plunger extrusion process, this product features a rounded diameter, softness, elasticity, and linting resistance. We also mastered the technology to control the expansion degree (relative density can be controlled between 0.5-2). After medical processing, PTFE Monofilament can be used for medical sutures, braided precision industrial gaskets, packings, and more. Due to its softness, toughness, and excellent biocompatibility (non-rejection by the body), the expanded material holds great promise for medical applications. Currently, medical device companies in Shandong, Shanghai, Jiangsu, and other regions have applied to and passed clinical validation for PTFE Monofilament, a product used in surgical sutures, from national medical device regulatory authorities, and have obtained production licenses for ePTFE medical sutures.
